Vorrei narrarare un ricordo che fu del mio rimpianto papà (classe 1919). Quando era giovane andava a vedere i western in sale torinesi molto economiche, frequentate da un pubblico poco smaliziato e simpaticamente «burino». Era tale la partecipazione degli spettatori che quando lo sceriffo stava per essere vittima di un agguato gli gridavano: «Attento…occhio al bastardo – Fa tension…varte dal bastard!».
Nel momento dell’«arrivano i nostri» intere file galoppavano facendo scricchiolare le sedie di legno.
I protagonisti erano chiamati «comboys»…
