LarussaSull’ultimo numero del Magazine, il settimanale del Corriere della Sera, Francesco Verderami racconta del gusto per gli scherzi di Italo Bocchino, dirigente di Alleanza Nazionale. Di recente ne ha fatto uno a Ignazio La Russa, da poco Ministro della Difesa. Vai a sapere se sia andato esattamente così, ma comunque è indice di qualcosa (a voi stabilire cosa).

È la mattina del 2 maggio, Italo Bocchino telefona di buon’ora all’amico Ignazio La Russa, che se la sta dormendo della grossa in un albergo a Taormina. Secondo Verderami, la telefonata si svolge più o meno in questo modo.
– Chi parla?
Mentre La Russa formula la domanda, Bocchino capisce di aver svegliato l’amico che ha la voce ruvida come al solito, ma sensibilmente impastata. Con tono concitato, si dà il via alla beffa.
– Ignazio, so’ Italo… Stavi mica dormendo?
– Mmh, che c’è? Sono a Taormina.
La Russa è spaesato e non riesce a capire il motivo di tanta concitazione da parte dell’amico. Bocchino va avanti come uno schiacciasassi.
– Sì, bravo. Tu stai a Taormina e qui c’è quello str… di Maurizio che mi attacca su Libero.
Il Maurizio in questione è Gasparri, altro grande amico dei due dirigenti di Alleanza Nazionale.

Boccgasplar La Russa ascolta il suo interlocutore, ma non riesce a capire di che cosa si tratti precisamente. Bocchino, rincara la dose.
– Ma sì, è così! L’hai letto Libero?
– No, no. Non ancora…
Frastornato per l’inaspettata sveglia, l’allora futuro ministro della Difesa si attacca al telefono chiedendo alla reception dell’hotel di mandargli in camera i giornali, ma l’albergo ne è sprovvisto. La Russa appende e torna al suo interlocutore.
– Ma scusa, che ha detto quello “str…” di Maurizio?
– Leggi l’intervista e poi ne riparliamo. Stavolta faccio un gran casino!
Bocchino chiude la telefonata, lasciando La Russa. Dalla camera richiama ancora una volta la reception, ma niente da fare: i giornali non li hanno.

Senza pensarci un attimo, La Russa si mette qualcosa addosso e parte alla ricerca di un’edicola aperta con vero piglio da stratega e futuro responsabile delle forze armate. Il blitz si rivela però infruttuoso e, dopo qualche minuto, l’assonnato La Russa realizza di essere rimasto vittima di uno scherzo: il due di maggio i quotidiani non escono.
