Ieri mi sono occupato della risposta che il direttore scientifico della NASA, Ernst Stuhlinger, diede a una lettera ricevuta da una suora attiva in Zambia nel 1970, che chiedeva se non fosse meglio spendere il denaro della ricerca spaziale per combattere la fame nel mondo. Stuhlinger diede un’ottima e ben argomentata risposta, attuale ancora oggi e che mi ha fatto venire in mente questa cosa.
Vedo che ci ha pensato anche qualcuno nei commenti all’articolo, pubblicando la trascrizione del dialogo:
